Do not worry about your clothing, your food and drink. 

Seek the Kingdom and all the rest will be yours. 

Think of the ravens: how they neither sow nor reap. 

They need to build no barns, no house to store. 

And yet your heavenly Father feeds and protects them all. 

Are you not worth much more than birds?

Think of the lilies of the field, see how they grow. 

Can even Solomon with them compare? 

Yet not an anxious thought have they to toil or spin. 

Are you not worth much more than flowers? 

Provide yourselves with never failing treasures, 

Which thief cannot approach nor moth destroy. 

Sell all that you possess and give in charity. 

For where your treasure is, your heart will be.
